Lees is considered a conservative denim brand based in the United States. For the fall 2021 season, Lee’s denim line has the following in their clothing line:
A Lee Belted Rider Jacket (like a shacket)
The belted rider jacket in black duns costs £100. The fabric used for this denim jacket is 73% Bci Cotton and 27% Lyocell, a form of rayon. Lee used Tencel, a brand of Lyocell, for this jacket, which sets it apart from the other rider jackets created by Lee.
The belted rider jacket has a relaxed fit, long sleeves and has a soft denim belt. The designers lengthened the iconic Lee rider jacket and used inspiration from the company’s 70s styles to make the belted rider jacket feel contemporary.
The Season Fall21’s pleated overalls keep many of Lee’s distinctive design work. The overalls are inspired by workwear and the Lee archive collection. The back of the overalls use the Lee pocket design and the front uses real brass buttons and contrasting stitching.
The iconic Lee rider jacket is part of the Lee regular clothing line. The Fall 2021 rider jackets are offered in shades of blue and black with the addition of a lining in the sherpa rider jacket. The sherpa version of the rider jacket in black is made with 51% Organic Cotton, 34% Bci Cotton, 14% Recycled Polyester and 1% Elastane while the sherpa jacket in blue is made of 99% Org Cotton 1% Bio Elastane. I’m not sure if the lining is cotton but the denim is almost 100 percent organic cotton. Both versions of the denim rider jacket have very little stretch with 1% elastane to keep the shape of the jacket.
Each rider jacket comes with the front distinctive seams and stays in line with the brands archival brand identity.
