Denim Definitions

Lyocell – A fibre used to produce denim.

Lyocell consists of cellulose (wood, bark, plants). In the process of creating this form of rayon, the manufacturer dissolves the pulp and reconstitutes it by dry wet spinning. For fashion, the fibre is used to create textiles and clothing. ” Lyocell” is the generic name accepted by the industry to mean fibres created in this specific process.
